Alexandria Cruz
Alexandria Cruz is a native Charlottean who graduated from UNCC with a majors in Art and Psychology. There, Alexandria specialized in charcoal drawing, mixed-media and abstract painting with both oil and acrylic mediums. In 2012, Alexandria earned her Masters of Art Therapy and Counseling from GWU where she facilitated therapeutic art activities with clients in the D.C area.
After returning to her hometown of Charlotte, Alexandria managed an arts program for adults with disabilities. Later, she served in corporate relations at the Arts and Science Council and business development in healthcare.
Alexandria’s long time interest lies in the relation between art and fashion. Her passion for line, texture, space and color travel universally across mediums. View her latest art inspired works in the Gallery.
Alexandria currently volunteers as President of the Board at Lorien Academy of the Arts. She enjoys working with clients to make their custom art piece a reality. Alexandria is a major advocate for creative problem solving and welcomes your ideas with a listener’s spirit and open mind.
